Telemedicine at Eye Doctor MD PC
With the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, we are here for you in office as well as via Telemedicine via a HIPAA compliant platform.
How does it work?
- If you have a non-urgent eye issue, please call our office and ask for a telemedicine appointment. If you have an urgent medical or eye problem, please call our office for an urgent appointment or Dr. Pradhan’s on-call number or proceed to the nearest urgent care center or emergency room.
- Check your vision via the eye chart (linked below). Print out the eye chart and hang it up on your wall and stand 10 feet apart. Cover one eye, check your vision with your distance glasses on in one eye (right eye). Then cover the other eye and check your vision in the other eye (left eye).
- You will be emailed a link to login to do an audio-visual chat with Dr. Pradhan at the scheduled time as well as a telemedicine consent form. Please complete the consent form prior to your appointment.
- Please check in via the telemedicine link at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. Dr. Pradhan will login and chat with you during your appointment. Our staff will call if she is running behind.
- Our staff will call you to collect a copay if applicable by your insurance.
