November 2017 – Dr. Pradhan sponsored a fundraiser for Eye Foundation of America Inc. inspired by her friend Dr. Leela Raju and her father, Dr. VK Raju. #GivingTuesday donations – “Eye Foundation Of America (Efa) Provides Medical Eye Care And Treatment That Is Both Affordable And Accessible To All On Equal Terms, With The Goal Of Eliminating Avoidable Blindness, Especially In Children.”  Dr. Pradhan donated $100 and raised another $150 for a total of $250 with a match of the $250 from the Gates Foundation and Facebook.

October 2017 – Eye Doctor MD PC celebrated our 2-year business anniversary with a $201 donation to the Central Virginia Food Bank and FeedMore.

September 2017 – Eye Doctor MD PC and Dr. Pradhan donated $25 sponsorship for the Richmond CROP Hunger Walk

September 2017 – Eye Doctor MD PC sponsored/donated $100 for the General Sponsorship for the 4rd Annual Beyond the Call of Duty Car Show for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

October 2016 – Eye Doctor MD PC celebrated our 1-year business anniversary with food drive to benefit the Central Virginia Food Bank and FeedMore.  We were able to donate $101 and 32 pounds of food!

September 2016 – Eye Doctor MD PC sponsored/donated $100 for the General Sponsorship for the 3rd Annual Beyond the Call of Duty Car Show for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America

December 13, 2015 – Dr. Pradhan and her husband walked in the Toys for Tots 5K Annual Fundraiser and donated toys for the cause.

October 2015 – In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Pradhan supported River City Charities with a silent auction item donation for their Annual Pink Tie Gala with net proceeds benefiting the central Virginia affiliate of the Susan G Komen Foundation.

May 2015 – Dr. Pradhan donated $80 to the American Cancer Society to help her friend reach her goal of $1000 for the Relay for Life fundraiser in honor of her friend’s mother who passed away from cancer.

May 2015 – In response to the earthquake in Nepal, Dr. Pradhan donated $100 to the Nepal Eye Care Relief Fund via the American Academy of Ophthlamology.

April 2015 – In honor of her long-time patient’s passing away from cancer and funeral gift suggestion, Dr. Pradhan donated $50 to the American Cancer Society.

Sept 2014 – When nominated for the ALS ice bucket challenge, Dr. Pradhan donated food to the local Beaverdam Baptist Food Pantry as part of the Global Rice Bucket Challenge and in addition, supported her colleague, Dr. Celeste Chu, in her fundraising for the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk challenge with a $50 donation.

Summer 2009 – Dr. Pradhan and her husband, Dr. Kumar Abhishek, established the endowed scholarship fund with $50,000 to create the Twin Angels Abhishek Pradhan Endowed Scholarship at her alma mater, Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine in honor of their angel twins who were born too early at 20 weeks.  The scholarship is now fully funded as of 2017 and is awarded to medical students annually since the fall of 2017, to help future medical students with their education and honor the memory of their twins.
