Introducing Lumenis OptiLift
Dr. Pradhan is committed to bringing advanced, innovative technology to our patients and is proud to be the first ophthalmologist in the Richmond, VA area to offer OptiLift. We’re also excited to welcome Mrs. Cindy Kapinos, a certified nurse practitioner in OptiLift, who will be providing treatments on Tuesday mornings to offer even more scheduling convenience.

See the Difference: One OptiLift Treatment for Eyelid Support
The OptiLift is a technology designed to improve lower lid laxity and poor blink—common contributors to dry eye—whether from Bell’s palsy, chronic computer fatigue, or mild floppy eyelid syndrome caused by eye rubbing. Safe for all skin types, OptiLift offers a unique, rejuvenating solution to support eyelid function as we age.
Contraindications include metal in the treatment area, implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators, and recent Botox around the eyes within the last 3–4 months.
How OptiLift Works to Improve Your Eye Health
- Improve blinking and tear distribution for healthier, more comfortable eyes
- Support natural eyelid position and reduce lower eyelid laxity
- Protect the cornea from dryness and exposure
- Enhance overall eye comfort and function
