If you are on a steroid drop and it is prednisolone acetate, please check with your pharmacist and on the FDA website to see if it is one of the lot numbers affected. If it is affected, please stop using the eye drop immediately and return the bottle and packaging to your pharmacy for a replacement, usually at no cost. Let your friends and family know if you know they have had recent eye surgery and they may be using a steroid eye drop.
